At the age of 24, Christopher Nkunku is one of Europe's brightest new stars. The France international has been one of the Bundesliga's best players for the past two seasons. This week, EA confirmed the top 25 rated players in the German Bundesliga, continuing their Ratings reveals.

Frenchman on FIRE

For RB Leipzig in the 2021/22 season, Nkunku was outstanding. Amazingly, the Frenchman scored 20 goals and added 15 assists in the Bundesliga last year. Seven of Nkunku's goals and two of his assists came in just six UEFA Champions League games. When you consider that most of Nkunku's playing time is spent in the midfield, these statistics seem even more absurd. It's not hard to see why the likes of Chelsea are rumored to be interested in signing the young French international.

The Ultimate FIFA 23 Midfielder

Fans of Nkunku's play last season rightfully demanded more than FIFA 22's 81 OVR for him, and EA has delivered. The young man from Leipzig has received a MASSIVE +5 overall rating increase, bringing his FIFA 23 card up to 86 OVR. All four of Nkunku's new card's stats, at 88, are exceptional for a base card: pace (88), dribbling (83), passing (81) and shooting (81). The center forward's card has been made even more'meta' by EA's decision to give him five stars for his skill moves this year. Nkunku's lack of defensive and physical prowess is his lone weakness, but with an Anchor Chemistry Style, the Frenchman can blossom into a well-rounded midfielder.

Bundesliga Top 25 Revealed

EA has officially revealed the top-rated Bundesliga stars set to appear in FIFA 23. There are no surprises that multiple Bayern Munich stars feature, with a certain RB Leipzig dominator slowly becoming one of the league's best.

The top 25 are:

  • Niklas Sule (85 OVR)
